Visitors notice

You are welcome to come sit awhile and enjoy the scenery and watch the chickens anytime of year. Pet the goats, Harvest herbs for cooking and medicine from the herb garden when in season. Our For Sale List grows Daily Spring thru Fall.  

For the first time in 5 yrs we invested in a new breeding buck last Summer. He comes to us from Jan Zimmerman of Twin Meadows. We are so very lucky to have him. He will be young during the breeding season and the 2013 kidding season but we have high hopes for him in the future.

We also have added several new does in the 2012/ 2013 Season and again closed our herd. 
All our goats come from CAE/CL tested herds and we have tested Negative for Johnes. 

The new comers include a Royal Crest Doe in the Summer of 2012 when we added our new buck. Two new NKY Windy Acres Does that just arrived. We have high hopes for these little beauties to give us some gorgeous kids sired by our new Buck in the upcoming breeding/kidding seasons. They will no doubt add Longevity, Dairy Character, High Quantity/Quality Milking Production, and lots of Georgous Colorful Kids to our herd. Our Rabbits and chicks are kindling and hatching in full force so far this year. We have ten litters if rabbits that will be coming up for sale in 3 to 4 more weeks and chicks currently available in both standard and bantam for $3.00 ea. Our ducklings have also just started to hatch and are a delight to see. We will be hatching turkeys, Guineas, Ducks, and Chicks thru the fall season Prices vary. Hatching eggs are also available.

Goat milk is available for those who are in need of it for nonhuman consumption. $5.00/ Half Gallon
